This cupcake is melt-in-your mouth amazing. The cupcake itself has freshly roasted, ground chestnuts baked in to it, and is then filled with pure nutella until it starts to burst. I then slather it with cocoa buttercream, and dip it in more ground chestnuts. It's breath taking.
Tres Leches Cupcakes
Classic Cupcake
These are the quintessential cupcakes. A moist and sweet vanilla cupcake with a swirl of vanilla buttercream on top, these can be made in the color of your choice, with sprinkles of your choice as well. I use real Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract to flavor the buttercream.
What's Up Doc?
These are the tastiest carrot cupcakes you'll ever eat! Adopted from a family recipe that has been passed down for generations, these cupcakes are full of fresh carrots and are topped with cream cheese frosting that is spiked with fresh ginger for some added spice!
Better than Birthday Cake
Here we have a decadent fudgy cupcake, rich with Sharfen Berger chocolate. A classic vanilla buttercream is swirled on top. Sprinkles or sugar flowers complete the look! Better than your average chocolate birthday cake, and no cutting is involved!
My Almond Joy
I have an obsession with anything almond, and this cupcake is the epitomy of all of my favorite forms of the buttery nut. The cupcake itself is rich and moist with marzipan, and the frosting is flavored with pure almond extract. It is then rolled in sliced almonds, adding a nice crunch factor and balancing out the sweetness of the almond buttercream.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Heaven
The frosting is what shines here, I'm told it tastes exactly like the center of a peanut butter cup. It's rich and fudgy and busrting with peanut buttery goodness. The cupcake ain't so bad either, in fact it's sinfully good, made with Sharfen Berger chocolate. Sometimes I put mini peanut butter cups on top, sometimes I use cacao nibs. Either way it tastes delicious!
Almond Raspberry Delight
These are my personal favorites. This almond cupcake is moist and rich, with tart raspberries scattered throughout. Topped with a swirl of whipped raspberry buttercream, these can be made even prettier by adding sugar flowers or edible pearls.
Tropicana
This tasty tropical treat consists of a fluffy banana cupcake with a heaping slather of coconut cream cheese frosting on top, then rolled in shredded coconut.
The Great Pumpkin
I bet Linus and Charlie would have loved munching on these while waiting for The Great Pumpkin. These rich cupcakes are dotted with white chocolate chips, and then smothered in white chocolate cream cheese frosting. The candy corn makes them cute, while a dusting of nutmeg would make them more sophisticated.
Who Spiked the Eggnog?
Me, that's who!! These have become one of my favorite holiday traditions. The cupcake has a warm spicy flavor thanks to nutmeg and rum, and the frosting is spiked with brandy and more spices. How can you go wrong with eggnog in cake form?
